The Southeast Valley has its share of malls.

In that location are traditional indoor venues, such as Arizona Mills and Superstition Springs, every bit well as sprawling outdoor venues, such equally Tempe Marketplace and Mesa Riverview. All the same, newer outlet malls, such as Phoenix Premium Outlets and the Tanger Outlets in Glendale, have cut into Arizona Mills' cache.

The mall is taking steps to stay fresh. This year information technology added a revamped food court with 10 new restaurants, new seating, floors and fixtures to offer visitors a more upscale experience.

Arizona Mills General Manager Dave Johnston said the upgrades don't terminate there.

"We're taking that attitude with the entire center," Johnston said. "Nosotros're improving lighting, the food court, the soft seating areas. We're painting the exterior this fall. We're continuing to raise the center."

Johnston said bathroom renovations are coming soon (a restroom most the food courtroom already is finished) and the staff would continue to look for areas to improve.

New shops at Arizona Mills include At Dwelling (fine art, décor and furniture), Conn's Home Plus (appliances and electronics) and U.Southward. Polo Assn. Factory Outlet (habiliment). On the horizon are EXPRESS Factory Outlet (clothing) and Hot Topic (music and pop-civilization-inspired fashion).

Chandler Fashion Center, 3111 W. Chandler Boulevard (at the Cost Expressway), Chandler: For years Chandler Mode Centre was the shiny, new mall that many Southeast Valley residents flocked to. As others, such as Tempe Marketplace, Santan Village and, most recently, Phoenix Premium Outlets, have opened, the managers of Chandler Style Center took steps to keep upward.

Chandler Fashion Center has new civilities, including an outdoor lawn and splash pads, which opened in Baronial. The shops feature a children's play area and train rides for kids. The mall offers valet service and even personal-shopping services for those who might be as well busy to store for themselves or may have concrete impairments that might make shopping difficult.

The mall also partners with many community groups throughout the twelvemonth.

Mesa Riverview, 1061 N. The center opened in 2007 and created a buzz with the state's only Bass Pro Shops store. Phoenix Premium Outlets, 4976 Premium Outlets Fashion, Chandler (Off Interstate 10 at Wild Horse Laissez passer Boulevard get out): The outdoor collection of shops is the newest in the Southeast Valley, having opened in April 2013.

Phoenix Premium Outlets appeals to the shopper looking to score high-end wearing apparel, shoes, accessories and other goods at discounts of 25 to 65 percent off everyday retail prices.

"Since opening in the spring of 2013, Phoenix Premium Outlets has become a shopping destination for locals and visitors from all over the state," said Jennifer Dennison, Managing director of Marketing for Phoenix Premium Outlets.

The collection'due south proximity to Wild Horse Pass casino and resort draws visitors from throughout the globe, particularly in peak season.

Phoenix Premium Outlets has about 90 stores, including Adidas, Banana Republic, Bus, DKNY, Elie Tahari, Lucky Make, Michael Kors, Nike and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. Recent additions to the collection include Torrid (women's fashion for sizes 12 to 28) and Wet Seal (style for teens and young women).

Superstition Springs Center, 6555 E. Southern Ave. (at Power Route), Mesa: This indoor collection of shops has been an east-Mesa shopping hub for fifteen years. The mall and surrounding plazas characteristic more than than 120 stores, restaurants and other shops.

Tempe Market, 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway (near McClintock Drive and Cherry Mount Freeway): Tempe Market place is an example of an ecology-cleanup success and now a popular regional place to shop. It is built on former landfills, junkyards and even a foundry. It was hailed as the largest brownfield-cleanup site in Arizona history when it opened in October 2007.
